London Fire Brigade Sprint Enduro

Hi All,

As most of you know the London Fire Brigade will be running the SEEC's first ever Sprint Enduro Event.

It will be on Sunday 5th September and will consist of a full day of racing!

A morning session of at least 3 hours where riders are free to ride as often as they wish to try to post just one qualifying lap (like MotoGP or Superbikes)

and an afternoon session consisting of mini H&H heat races for the top qualifiers!

Entry is a mere £35 and spectating is free!

Many thanks to the Kingston riders who sweated it out at the Carshalton Enduro to-day at Slab..I hope you coped with the vast number of laps to work out, and I hope you all had a good day..I know we had a few retirements, but we hope to see you on the 21st of August for the RAF round of the Combine Champioship again at Slab...Reg's are on the RAF web-site,and don't forget the Kingston Fun Day up at Mick Scarrys farm Headley on the 25th July, of course bring the bike..'' Entries appear to be slow to Carshaltons Enduro round, have you entered yet? Obviously, Ted would appreciate that the Kinston riders enter for this event as soon as possible.

Well DONE LADS...The club had some very good results with the Croydon Enduro at West Harting Down, on Sunday the 16th May..We had Wins in the Championship Class,and Sportsman Class...In all classes we had points scored, so all in all it was a good day..I think times were about right, and apart from a '''BLIP''' the electronic timing worked OK...The next ROUND IS THE CARSHALTON ENDURO AT SLAB COMMON ON THE 13th JUNE...GET YOUR REGS OFF EARLY...Once again a smashing Result, I hope Keith Fielder you don't hurt to much, you had a good result....See you all at Slab on the 13th June, make an OLD MAN HAPPY............................................

Our Enduro round

On behalf of the club I would like to thank young and old who came down to Blackwood on the Saturday and Sunday, and helped with what I thought was a great enduro...We only just had enough helpers on the Sunday, but from those that helped on the Saturday laying out the course and setting times, I think we got it about right...Three names to mention, Alan Dudley for all the paper work as Sec-of-Meeting, and the very hard working Clerk-of-Course Bernie Coyne, and John Coyne for trundling down the M3 with the trailer, flat out at 45 mph....I will write about the event in more detail in the next News-Letter, but a very big thank you every-one....From one of the older ones, Ted.. PS we haven't had rain for about 3 weeks, but that all changed on the Sat Night and Sun morning..We must be wicked people!.

Club darts that was cancelled is now on 11th February 8pm at the long Ditton club house and The club Stargroup trials round is on April 11th, at Bagshot, please if possible support BOTH events.
